International Certificate in Impact Entrepreneurship

An ecosystem for new students, innovation and growth

At TSB we define entrepreneurship as the ability to craft, develop and grow new opportunities. The value of an entrepreneurial mind set is transmitted through our E4 Impact International Certificate in Impact Entrepreneurship (ICIE) programme.

Entrepreneurship needs more than academic knowledge to flourish. We provide the advice, networks, and research necessary to bring entrepreneurial dreams to life and to help them grow.

The International Certificate in Impact Entrepreneurship (ICIE) programme is an international programme run by TSB in partnership with the E4Impact Foundation and the Catholic University of Milan. The goal of the programme is to train the next generation of impact entrepreneurs. These are individuals who create profitable businesses that bring social, economic, and environmental development to their community.

The ICIE program is an impactful programme delivered by local and international experts. The program is a unique platform to start or scale a business:

  • It adopts a tailor-made approach focused on developing participants’ ideas into successful business plans.

  • It adopts a flexible approach designed for entrepreneurs and working people.

  • It provides participants with one-to-one mentoring and opportunities to present their business to potential investors.

  • It has an international faculty and confers an international certificate from the Catholic University of Milan, Italy.

Each course on the programme is developed to address a specific need that arises when starting or scaling a business. The final output from the programme is a proven business model and an investment ready business plan.

The ICIE programme is delivered in 4 sections, starting in July. It consists of 300 hours of learning activities over a 4-month period, covering Business Model Design, Entrepreneurial Marketing and Financial Model Design.

The programme is delivered using a blended formula consisting of contact lessons, individual online learning sessions and coaching sessions. Contact classes are delivered twice a week, usually whole days on Fridays and on Saturday mornings.

To date, the E4Impact foundation has trained over 2000 entrepreneurs across 17 African countries, with their businesses creating around 16000 jobs directly and across their value chain.
